Can I really make my own wiki?

Let's look at wikispaces.com's tutorial for getting started. Follow along and you'll end up with a wiki!

Here are the steps:

1. At wikispaces.com, type in a username, password, and email.
2. Click "Get Started." (Note: You will have to choose a username that has not been used before.)
3. Clck the "Yes" radio button next to "Make a Wiki?"
4. You will receive a confirmation email. You can check it later.
5. Choose your wiki's name.
6. Select the permission you want to give.
7. Select your wiki type.
8. Click "join."
9. Review the "Getting Started" welcome page.
10. Begin editing your wiki's homepage.
11. Have fun.

Now, let's create a PBworks wiki page. Follow these steps.

Here are the steps:

1. At PBworks.com, hover your mouse over the "For Education" link.
2. Click on "Sign up now."
3. Now choose "Basic Free" and click "select."
4. Choose your address "___.pbworks.com.
5. Choose your user name and type your email.
6. Click the radio button next to the "I agree that..." and click "next" in the lower right.
7. Confirm your email and you are ready to go!
8. Have fun.

Now play with your wikis! It's okay. They are made to be edited.
